Our timely suggestions, periodic assistance and unending goodwill are security bonds to your constructions.
We care and we show.

Objective
The novel idea of mobile lab - Mobile concrete solutions on wheels which consists of different cement testing
equipments to test the quality, strength of cement and concrete at construction sites

Equipments in Nirmaan Sanjeevani

Blaines apparatus
Vicat apparatus
Slump cone
Le-chatelier apparatus

To find out the fineness of cement. In terms of specific surface expressed as Total Surface Area in M2/Kg. this is a variable flow type air permeability apparatus.

The Vicat apparatus is used to determine the initial and final setting time of cement. Once the cement is mixed with water, it takes specific time to harden. A minimum time of thirty minutes is setting time specified by the Bureau of Indian Standards. Maximum and minimum setting time can be found out using this apparatus.

To find out the water cement ratio of concrete (the slump cone test determine the optimum quantity of water to be added to access the good strength of concrete).

To determine the soundness of cement by expansion method. It consist of a small split cylinder forming a mould on either side of the split cylinder, two parallel indicating arms with pointed ends are attached. By using these expansion can be determined.

Vibrating machine

Humidity chamber

Compressive testing machine (1000 KN)

Non-destructive testing machine

For compacting the mortar and to remove voids in the cement mortar cubes (of 7.06 cm mould) the cubes are to be vibrated for two minutes at a speed of 12000 +/- 400 rpm on this machine.

For maintaining a consistent temperature i.e. 27 +/- 2oC and Relative Humidity of minimum 90% in the mortar cubes, these cubes are to be kept in the Humidity Chamber for 24 hours before curing.

For determining the compressive strength of cement mortar cubes and concrete cubes these are made to break under compressive force on this machine.

This apparatus tests the strength of the cement used in concrete after the construction is complete. The apparatus consists of 15mm diameter plunger which is made to rebound on the area where cement is used. The reading of the bounce back of this plunger, determines the strength of the concrete. This will help to carry out the test without disturbing the already constructed structure.

Mobile Concrete Solutions
The management of Anjani extends its service horizons to all prospective users of cement – Anjani or otherwise. As part of “ASK ANJANI” program, the service department has set up a Mobile Lab - Mobile Concrete Solutions which has inbuilt cement and concrete testing equipment and concrete at different stages of its use – pre or post construction.  This Mobile Lab is available on call at any construction site within its gambit of operations.

Compressive Strength Testing Machine, Vicat Apparatus, Non - Destructive testing machine and Slump Cone apparatus are utilized to test the quality, water requirement, setting time and the strength of cement and concrete at construction sites.

Measures the strength of the concrete used for your construction. The cement is mixed with sand at required proportion as per BIS specifications and is made into cubes. These cubes are then tested in this machine. The cube must be able to withstand BIS specific level of pressure.

The Vicat's apparatus is used to determine the initial and final setting time of cement. Once the cement is mixed with water, it takes specific time to harden. A minimum time of thirty minutes is setting time specified by the BIS. Maximum and minimum setting time can be found out using this apparatus.

This apparatus tests the strength of the cement used in concrete even after the construction is complete. The apparatus consists of 15mm diameter plunger which is made to rebound on the constructed area. The reading of the bounce back strength of this plunger, determines the strength of the concrete. This will help to carry out the test without disturbing the already constructed structure.

The tendency is usually to add more water to cement as it proves easy to work with. But doing this would reduce the strength of cement and harm the structure. The Slump cone test determines the optimum amount of water to be added to access the best strength of the cement.
